No mires ahí (Don't Look There): A grieving family; a ghostly presence. Do look here! 

Mainstream: Oh you know, just a little psychological body horror from 2006!

Below: Let's take a break and have a good, clever laugh!

UNwanted Guest: A tidy little jump scare!

Missing: A whole lotta torture going on!

New Jersey Monster Hunter: A fun creature feature with a throw back feel. The blood and guts are great!

Roommate: A physiological little thriller that reminders you it's best to live alone sometimes.

The Dollmaker: Always listen to the directions when given a doll that requires instructions!

Anitbodies: The nightmares of social conformity and the traps they are, for everyone.

The Flytipper: Laughs abound with this horror short about dick jokes and junk.

How Olin Lost His Eye: A curious young boy goes exploring around an abandoned house. Excellent!


Riparian: A strikingly effect body horror short! 


Meet Jimmy: True crime podcast, supernatural, living in our ear phones -  this captures a zeitgeist!


Deer Head Valley: Peak quirk and gruesome, and almost tangible - so terribly gross. 


The Woods: Yikes! This is a simple, sweet, and sinister story. Excellent sound effects. 


Central Dental: This just isn't this guy's night. Beware those alleyway dental clinics.


Mainstream: Little cerebral, and takes a sharp look at "being plugged in". Or unplugged, for that matter. 


Rest My Bones: A cheeky little Irish short about making a deal with the devil.

 
Written: Absolutely stunning! Watch in the dark and with headphones on. 


Woodland Heights: Exquisite! This 1950's prom night is not going to go as planned.


MK Ultra Violence: Oh dear. This one is rough, on multiple levels.


The Rejected: Extremely graphic! So gory, and ... I'm not entirely sure of the message [raised eyebrow].


I'm Not Jessica: Hahahahaha. Silly, goofy fun. 


The Chute: I don't care what you say, laundry chutes are always going to be scary!


Horrorscope: HAHAHAHAHAHA. BRILLIANT!


Ansigtet (The Face): Well.... that got sad FAST.


Me Time: A masterclass in humor, thrills, chills, and - frankly, overall wit!


The Springfield Three: A paranormal take, sorta, on a true crime story. It's an interesting take!

Anaconda: Sex - lots of sex! Power, and the internet. This one is brilliant.

Meet Jimmy: UHHHHHHGGGGG! I Listen To So Much TRUE CRIME PODCASTS! [crying and screaming].

Abracitos: Profound, totally unsettling - with jump scare galore. This one sticks and makes your brain itch.

Sweetie: Someone learns the hard way that when those trick or treaters come, don't be stingy with that candy!

The Dead Collectors: Hands down! One of the best zombie comedy shorts I've come across in a long time!

Box Fort: I LOVE box forts! And this one is epic ... in many ways ... Love This!

Mental Image: This guy is not sleeping tight at all ...

Antikk: Be careful out there, when antique hunting. Excellently terrifying.

Neighborhood Watch: Oh the unraveling mind ...

Desecration: Just some soldiers out in the woods, what could go wrong when they find a kid out there?

Hushy Bye: Being new parents can be rough!

Emma: A very neat take on a haunted house story. Clever effects.

Elevator: A meetcute bloodbath, perhaps?

Parched: Oh this one unnerved me in ways I cannot explain... 

Phone: 347: So I'm not exactly sure what I just saw but I liked it!

Mommy: Careful kids! Mommy told you not to leave the room when she's on a date!

Death Metal: Hilarious! Whip smart! Just a metal head who inherits a possessed guitar. It's a blood bath.

Blood and Guts: Strap in for a wild ride down bad science road!

Threshold: Tinkering around, late at night, in the garage takes some unexpected twists.

Phantasmic: David Lynchian, nightmare inspired, chaos show. 

Papa-Figo: Just a couple of kids, doing kid stuff, when something goes terribly, terribly wrong.

Killer Date: A dude thinks he knows all there is about dating and one-night-stands....

Visitor: The widow was not expecting this particular knock at the door...

Final Grave: Something sinister is lurking in the back of this man's mind, and home.

Arcade: A cheeky little slasher with all the '80's vibes.

No mires ahí (Don’t look there): A touching and heartbreaking little tale about grief and ghosts. 

20 Matches: A menacing, unique, and succinct little tale about a serial killer.

The Drawing: A charming and frightening short, short about a deadly doodle.

Granny: A hilarious story about Grandma refusing to go into a nursing home, quietly. 

Demon: Absolutely brilliant - edge of your seat horror! Watch in a dark setting. 

The World Over: A young couple discover a portal to a parallel universe in their house. Things get really damn weird!

Rest My Bones: This little tickler has fun twist on a chat with the Devil, sort of...

Spectral: A ghostly little snack of jump scares!

The Shoes: These shoes hold a massive, massive grudge. 

Bill: Folks, don't call up what you can't put down!

Wash: I was doing the laundry when I found this - alarmingly frightening. 

Televised: A nice little experiment in sound and visuals - compliments of the TV.

Window Dressing: When decorations take on a life of their own!

Nibble: Well, this got gross right quick...

Tending The Rabbits: A fever dream of art house horror - not for everyone.

Charlie Boy: Absolutely outstanding! I have no more words! Outstanding! Utterly terrifying and heartbreaking!

Kissed: Don't do that, mortuary tech - don't do that! Warned you!

Mr. Dentonn: A slender man, classic boogey man, and babadook meet. 

Campfire Story: Gather around and hear another spin on a classic story! Fun, funny, and freaky.

Gotcha: A stylish little creature feature!

Maisie: Uh Oh! That's not your typical children's doll! Brilliant opening. 

Bad Omen: And now for a little killer kid fun!

Wandering Soul: Oh, well, this is all sorts of f*cked up!

Shadowed: With clever visual effects and a super spooky home - this one should not be overlooked! 

Oscar's Bell: A father/son camping trip goes terribly wrong when *something* comes out of the woods. Very scary!!!!

El Aura Azul: A little Colombian ghost story shocker that has a lot happening in it's 8 mins. 

Catcalls: Dude, you messed with the wrong women! 

Sweetie: A slow, menacing tale about the perils of not having any treats during Halloween. Turn the sound up...

Craspec: A brilliant, haunting and jarring, French short that begs the "what is hell?" question.

Finley: Absolutely outstanding!! Equally funny, clever, and bloody. Loved it!

#brunch: When two friends meet up for brunch, an unexpected visitor also makes an appearance. 

Mr. Dentonn: A Spanish horror fantasy in the vein of The Babadook and Slenderman. Beware, little children...

Boobs: Super short, sweet, disturbingly funny and frightening.

Noidan Merkki: A Finnish Found Footage Film!

The Bride: A fascinating new take on a classic spooky story. 

The Preying Mantis: It's a half hour, so it takes a while but it will be worth it for the ending. 

Ayuda: Thrilling, dramatic, and scary! These poor guys were picked up for the wrong job.

Ding ... You're Dead: Folks, all you need to know is that it's about a killer microwave.

A Doll Distorted: Beautiful, atmospheric, and seriously f*cked up!

Dawn of the Deaf: Whoa! This is a doozy - a lot packed in here. Also, personally amusing because I am half deaf. 

Viola vs The Vampire King: I'll end this year's film festival with some very fun grindhouse goodness!

Bonus, I stumbled upon the making of Viola vs. The Vampire King - damn thing was so sweet, wholesome, funny, and adorable - I just have to share it too. It also helps to see how much work and love goes into even the shortest of films. Thank you artists for sharing your work!

Holy F__K: Oh, holy sh_t this one is hilarious!! Stellar and hilarious!



Salt: Best keep those salt shakers handy for this fast and furious bite-sized morsel!



The Fisherman: SCARY SEA MONSTERS ARE SCARY! This one is so, so good!



Smear: All the ladies love going in for their annual pap exam - amiright?!! Ladies?!?!



Homunculus: A bizarre animation/stop animation about rotting food...



There Comes A Knocking: A solid, ghostly chiller! Someday we might even see this be turned into a feature film!



Self-Assembly: Wowza! This one's a devilish delight. Warning - the opening scene is intense.



Mother Died: Well, this one is sure a shocker! Possibly poetic even...



Meow: Well this one is a lot of fun! Perfect for cat lovers. 



Lilith: Made in 48 hours, this moody and spooky film will leave you with chills!



Undress Me: Dear christ almighty! Gruesome, gruesome, gruesome!



Shhh: This one is inspired by Guillermo del Toro's childhood nightmares - and the monster does not disappoint!



Reverse: Evil garages are evil! This one is especially spooktacular. 



Cliché (Short Horror Film): The title says a lot - but the scares are still pretty good!



Deadpan - An Awkward Comedy Horror Short Film: Shout to these kids who put this bizarre concoction together in a couple of hours. Hahaha!



Momo: A disturbing little thriller about love, loss, and madness!



Big Bad Wolves: I too have theorized the story of Little Red Riding hood is a cautionary tale about sexual predators...

Behind: CRINGE BINGE GALORE! Absolutely Frightening. The mother is just trying to protect her child ... from something...


Coffer: A quiet night at home leads to a Jump Out Of Your Seat (I literally did) evening.


The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon: LMFAO


The Visitor: A creatively done little story with a neat twist. 


The Maiden: Spooky haunted house story goes sinister. Dare you to play the Scary Grandma game after seeing this.


Larry: Careful what you browse through in the lost and found. This creature is terribly scary!!


Into the Mud: Well this took a turn I certainly did not expect!!! Brilliant story, cinematography, and acting. 


The Bridge Partner: This is one very serious bridge game. Fun, fresh, and wonderfully made - great story for all horror fans.


Good Luck, Mr. Zombie!: This is a clever little side tickler!!


In The Tall Grass: A fantastic, wonderfully made animated horror story about the horrors of our mind.


The Election: You might think you know what this film is about, but I can assure you - you don't.


Green Eyed: Brilliantly created original story about a girl, a monster, and a jealous yuppie.


The Crossing: A genuinely disturbing story about love, loss, and the nightmares in-between. Lovely work, terrifying story.


The Little Mermaid: Fantastical, beautiful, and chilling.


Waffle: Sometimes making friends is very difficult. Gruesome and unsettling, this short is also a cautionary tale, of sorts. 


The Silent: A troubling but beautiful visual experience, and a look into grief. 


Midnight Story: A little story about actual monsters in our home... one of the best animated films I've ever seen. 


Zombies and Cigarettes: "What are they?!" "Zombies, I think". [screaming and chaos everywhere]. "Zombies in Spain?" Smart, gory good fun.

The Landing: Fantastic effects! Stunning cinematography! Brilliant execution! Striking and shocking in every way - don't miss this one.



The Gibbering Horror of Howard Ghormley: Nightmarish, strange, surreal, and it looks like it was pulled from David Lynch's nightmares.



Dead Hearts: "A whimsical, gothic bedtime story filled with love, loss, taxidermy, Kung Fu, and biker werewolves." Indeed! Indeed! Indeed!



The Best of Intentions: This Danish thriller surrounds an overly protective father, his daughter, and her caretaker...



The Brain Hack: Can a perfect image induce a viewer to see God...? Note - this video contains flashing images!



The Disappearance of Willie Bingham: Mentally and emotionally gruesome and very chilling, this short looks into an alternative capital punishment method...



Thumb Snatchers From the Moon Cocoon: A hilarious, goofy, and very original claymation short is sure to entertain all audiences. 



“Dans l’ombre” (In the shadow): What things do you think your shadow would say - and would the two of you get along...?



Shame: A very disturbing tale about a girl and her hands...



Awfully Deep: A powerful and thought proving little tale about responsibility - for ourselves and others.



But I’d Really Have To Kill You: Witty, hilarious, and brilliant. This little office conversation will leave you laughing.



Monsters: A family living in a bunker after monsters take over the world, are doing more than hiding themselves...



Tik-Tik: Based on the Aswang creature, from Philippine folklore, this one will chill you to the core.



Canis: A deeply, deeply, deeply disturbing puppet stop animation about a boy and packs of wild dogs.



Night of the Slasher: Witty and filled with macabre humor, this one takes cheesy slasher films to a new level. 



Intrusion: A remarkable found footage film created on a budget of $11.50! Watch with headphones!!



The Umbrella Factory: A simply stunning and beautiful animation short about the perils of getting what you ask for.

Vicious: A whole bunch of EEEEEGAAAADS is happening here. Fantastic. Hugs recommended afterwards.




Dog Food: A simply remarkable moral tale of revenge and twisted humans:



Downstairs: Devilishly humorous, but also very intense and twisted. Here a security guard has a very, very bad evening.



Attic Panic: I always thought storage units were pretty creepy, but this one takes it to a whole new level!



The Facts in the Case of Mr. Hollow: Spooky but not scary. Creepy but not frightening. Beautiful and remarkable.



Rake: Urban legend meets camping trip meets ugly demise for just about everyone.



The Smiling Man: Incredibly dark, menacing, and downright disturbing. Consider yourself warned, mediocre horror fans.




Alexia: Scary internet is scary.



He Took His Skin Off More Me: A remarkably gross love story. Prepare yourself for the cringe binge. 



Danny and the Wild Bunch: Your mid-short horror film festival break. Here we have an author who's created more than she can handle....



Invaders: A fiendishly hilarious gore fest that's been turned up to 11 - and just in time for Thanksgiving.



Sister Hell: A striking and remarkably visual tale on religion and self identity.



Occupied: Scary bathroom is scary!



Vienna Waits For You: An absolutely chilling tale that will stick with you for years, guaranteed.



Knock: A Halloween tale sure to shiver your bones just right!



Violeta: A super alarming ick, ick, gross, gross down-right-wrong-on-all-levels claymation.



The Captured Bird: A stunning, vibrant, and spooky fantasy.



I Heard It Too: Pretty much everyone's childhood nighttime nightmare come to life. Nighty nighty, sleep tight!

Treevenge: A total gore fest about killer Christmas trees!!!




Monster: Here's a unique and visually stunning take on curiosity and tradition...




FOXED! A brilliant and disturbing stop-motion animation about evil foxes.




2AM: Encountering a smiling face while walking home alone at night has never been more frightening.




Luna: Creature feature with edge of your seat suspense and a power-punch ending: 




Suckablood: A fantastic and very spooky Gothic bedtime story for adults!




Itsy Bitsy Spiders: Here's a fun for everyone short about a child with some real killer drawings.




Game: Hillbilly psychos with a fun and gruesome twist!
